Our story began in 1930, when Mr. Manal's mother pawned her jewelry, the only bracelets she had, to support her son's dream. As a young man, he cycled through the forests of Dehradun, learning from local healers about the power of medicinal plants. From these humble beginnings came the first herbal medicine — a milestone in building Himalaya's legacy of innovation. Today, we are proud to have become a trusted brand present in homes worldwide, associated with quality, care, and recommended by doctors.

The Himalaya Wellness Group remains a family-owned company, managed professionally. The parent company, Himalaya Global Holdings Ltd., through its strategic management division Himalaya Global Management Ltd., oversees subsidiaries in many countries, run by independent expert teams united in their pursuit of our Founder's vision.
